Cargo Run Update

Hello Moonbreakers,

First, we’d like to thank you for all of your support over the first week of Moonbreaker’s release into Early Access. Seeing your enthusiasm for the game has been overwhelming in the best possible way, and we’re excited to continue digging into all of your incredible and valuable feedback.

With that being said, we have heard a lot of your concerns surrounding our PvE, single-player roguelike campaign, Cargo Run. Specifically the use of Contracts for accessing and playing this mode.

While our intent was always for players to be able to earn enough Blanks during Cargo Run to continually unlock additional Contracts to play, we understand the community’s collective frustration that this mode felt gated and the desire to have any possible limitation removed.

We’re happy to share that we have released an update today to remove Cargo Run Contracts from the game entirely.

For any players who purchased Cargo Run Contracts using Pulsars or Blanks before this change, you will be refunded the full amount of the relevant in-game currency that you used to redeem any Contracts. For Pulsars, this amounts to 25 per Contract, and for Blanks it equals 80 per Contract. While this may not happen simultaneously with this update, these refunds will be granted as soon as we possibly can.

If you had any Cargo Run Contracts remaining in your inventory prior to this change (including the 15 granted with the base game, any additional purchases, or your daily free Contract) taking place, you will receive 10 Blanks per Contract as part of the update.

As we’re adjusting to allow for unlimited access to Cargo Run, Blanks have been removed from the reward table for this mode. However, the amount of Season Track XP earned will remain exactly the same as before.

Early Access is a journey that we want to embark on together with our community. We won’t always get everything right, but we want you to know that we are listening to your feedback and truly want to make Moonbreaker the best possible version of itself alongside you all.

Please continue to let us know how you’d like to see the game take shape now and in the future. We’re active on our Discord, constantly reading your Nolt suggestions, and checking all of our social accounts.

Again, we’d like to express our gratitude and appreciation for all of your feedback during this first week and hope that you continue to share your thoughts for many years to come!

See you in the Reaches,
- The Moonbreaker Team
